Broncos Announce Preseason Schedule
Games against NFC West Teams Highlight August Slate
Denver to Open Preseason on Friday, August 11 in Arizona
The Denver Broncos will kick off the preseason on Friday, August 11 at 7 p.m. MST with a trip to Arizona to face the Cardinals. The Broncos will then return home to host the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, August 19 at 7 p.m. MST, before wrapping up the preseason with a road game against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, August 26 at 7 p.m. MST.
The Broncos will face a trio of NFC West teams during the preseason, providing an early opportunity to evaluate their competition in the division. The Cardinals, Rams, and 49ers all finished with winning records in 2022, and the Broncos will be looking to get an early edge on their division rivals.
The Broncos' preseason schedule includes a mix of opponents from different divisions, which will give the team a chance to see a variety of different schemes and styles of play. The Broncos will also have a chance to experiment with different personnel groupings and formations during the preseason, as they prepare for the regular season.
After the preseason, the Broncos will have to trim the roster from 90 players down to 53 by Tuesday, August 29. The Broncos will then open the regular season on Sunday, September 10 at home against the Seattle Seahawks.
