Key Financial Highlights
Fiscal Year 2024 Highlights:
- Total revenue was $611.3 billion, an increase of 2.4% versus last year.
- E-commerce sales grew 12%, now representing approximately 13% of total U.S. sales.
- Sam's Club comparable sales, excluding fuel, increased 11.1%.
- Adjusted operating income was $23.2 billion, a decrease of 6.3% versus last year.
- Net income was $11.7 billion, and diluted earnings per share was $4.90.
Fourth Quarter 2024 Highlights:
- Total revenue was $164 billion, an increase of 1.9% versus last year.
- Comparable sales for Walmart U.S. increased 0.7%, excluding fuel.
- Sam's Club comparable sales, excluding fuel, increased 12.0%.
- Adjusted operating income was $6.2 billion, a decrease of 9.5% versus last year.
- Net income was $3.6 billion, and diluted earnings per share was $1.41.
